The CTI Education Group (CTI) is a registered, private higher education institution in South Africa. In 2006, CTI formed a partnership with the Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI) and today the group has campuses spread throughout South Africa catering for full-time and part-time students within the fields of Information Technology, Commerce, Creative Arts & Graphic Design, Psychology & Counselling, and Law.

CTI’s sole objective has always been to prepare its graduates for careers.  Since its inception in 1979, CTI has prepared a great number of students for a wide spectrum of employment opportunities. Many of CTI’s graduates have excelled in their chosen career fields and currently hold senior positions. Through its partnerships and affiliations with the London School of Business and Management, Edexcel, leading UK universities, Midrand Graduate Institute, and UNISA (South Africa’s largest university), and by producing its own high quality qualifications, CTI offers and supports a wide variety of international and national career qualifications ranging from Information Technology and Business Information Systems to Accounting, Marketing, Management, Graphic Design, Psychology, Tourism, Law, and Business. Qualifications offered and supported through CTI and MGI range across four faculties: the Information Technology Faculty, the Commerce Faculty, the Creative Arts & Communication Faculty, and the Law & Social Sciences Faculty.

Prospective students can study towards an international qualification through the London School of Business and Management, Edexcel  and a UK university at any of its 12 campuses countrywide. The partnership with Midrand Graduate Institute (MGI) makes it possible for prospective students across the country, to study towards a South African registered and accredited qualification at its main campus in Midrand as well as its many campuses nationally. In addition CTI’s unique study options makes it possible for prospective students to fast track their IT studies and gain employment within one year.

CTI is the only higher education institution in Africa that is accredited by the South African Council of Higher Education (CHE) as well as the British Accreditation Council (BAC) in the UK. This unique, dual accreditation ensures that all programmes and academic service delivery (both for local and international programmes) is of the highest local and international standards and that students have more comprehensive employment opportunities available to them upon completion of their studies.

MGI has degree conferring status in South Africa and besides its main campus in Midrand, MGI has many sites of delivery located throughout South Africa, making it possible for students to attend their studies full-time at any of the MGI campuses.
