CTI offers tuition and lecture support towards a full-time BCompt degree (UNISA) over three years. Students will be able to attend theoretical and practical lectures for the BCompt degree. The degree provides the student with a thorough knowledge of Accounting principals, taxation, auditing and financial management. The degree prepares the student for a career in financial management and lays the foundation to further their studies towards a BCompt (Hons) and eventually become a Chartered Accountant.  Upon successful completion of the BCompt degree, students may continue with the BCompt (Hons) which is offered over one year.

Entrance requirements

  • A National Senior Certificate for degree purposes.
  • UNISA specific requirements. For further entry requirements contact a student advisor.
  • Applicants with a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) for degree purposes may be admitted to the degree programme.

The applicant must be registered as a student of UNISA as well as with CTI. The applicant is solely responsible for his or her UNISA registration. CTI will assist where possible.
