CTI provides lecture and tutorial support towards the degree in Human Resource Management (UNISA) which will equip the student with the knowledge and skills that are required to manage various human resources functions; such as recruitment, selection, human resources administration, labour relations, human resources utilization, training, and remuneration. It will also teach students how to integrate their knowledge and skills into an organization's business processes, thus keeping in line with established quality standards.
On completion of this degree, students will be employable as human resources officers, training professionals, or industrial relations officers in small, medium, and large organizations in both the public and private sectors. The degree meets the qualification requirements for professional registration with the South African Board for Personnel Practice. Upon successful completion of the first year, the student will be awarded a National Certificate; after second year, a National Higher Certificate; and after third year, an N Dip: Human Resource Management.
