The IS Network Engineering Qualification offers graduates the opportunity to function within a range of positions within the engineering industry.  This qualification provides a wide range of hardware and software-related skills.  It also exposes graduates to advanced networking skills and essential server administration skills such as Microsoft, Linux, and Microsoft Exchange Server administration. Practical assignments are used throughout the qualification to ensure that the students have gained the necessary technical experience to fulfil their role as technical professionals.

This qualification is an intense and very comprehensive programme that involves on-campus attendance from 08:30 till 16:00, 5 days a week, for 46 weeks. Admittance into this programme is strictly reserved for those candidates who have successfully obtained the required mark in the CTI Aptitude Assessment.

  • Entrance requirements: Students need to have completed a National Senior Certificate and obtained the required mark in the CTI Aptitude Assessment.
  • Upon successful completion of the above qualification, students may then upgrade to a BTEC HND Information Systems (Network Engineering). To be released in 2011.
  • Students can start any week in the academic year.
  • Students can study on a full-time or part-time schedule.
