Unit description
This unit provides students with a practical understanding of both algorithmic and data structure usage for implementation in a computerised problem-solving context. As well as developing a student’s insight into data structures and algorithms, this unit divulges concepts that relate the two together, in addition to a rundown of object-oriented programming fundamentals. In doing this, students will, in due course, be able to effectively apply the outset concepts in a commercial environment.
